Kate Devlin is Reader in Synthetic Intelligence & Society within the Division of Digital Humanities, King’s Faculty London. She is an interdisciplinary laptop scientist investigating how individuals work together with and react to applied sciences, each previous and future. Kate is the writer of Turned On: Science, Intercourse and Robots, which examines the moral and social implications of expertise and intimacy. She is Inventive and Outreach lead for the UKRI Accountable Synthetic Intelligence UK programme — a global analysis and innovation ecosystem for accountable AI.
