Kirstin Petersen is an Affiliate Professor within the Faculty of Electrical and Laptop Engineering at Cornell College. Her lab, the Collective Embodied Intelligence Lab, is targeted on design and coordination of robotic collectives capable of obtain complicated behaviors past the attain of a person, and corresponding research on how social bugs achieve this in nature. Petersen did her postdoc on the Max Planck Institute for Clever Techniques and her PhD at Harvard College and the Wyss Institute for Biologically Impressed Engineering.
