Claire chatted to Anuradha Ranasinghe from Liverpool Hope College about haptic (contact) sensors for wearable tech and robotics.
Anuradha Ranasinghe earned her PhD in robotics from King’s Faculty London in 2015, specializing in haptic-based human management in low-visibility situations. She is now a senior lecturer in robotics at Liverpool Hope College, researching haptics, miniaturized sensors, and notion. Her work has obtained nationwide and worldwide media consideration, together with options by EPSRC, CBS Radio, Liverpool Echo, and Techxplore. She has printed in main robotics conferences and journals, and she or he has introduced her findings at varied worldwide conferences.
